Databricks on Google Cloud total cost: DBUs + VMs

Databricks on Google Cloud bills you twice: Databricks charges DBUs, and Google Cloud bills the Compute Engine VMs underneath. Pick a region, instance type and workload to see both side by side, at today's list prices.

DBU ratings per instance (incl. Photon) and $/DBU list rates come from the databricks.com pricing data; classic $/DBU on Google Cloud is the same in every region. VM prices are Compute Engine on-demand list prices read from Google's VM instance pricing pages. For types Databricks lists as "(-lssd)" we show the standard machine price; -lssd variants add bundled Local SSD charges. GPU machine types (A2, A3, G2, G4) are not priced yet. Prices refresh daily. Not included: storage/disks (EBS or Persistent Disk), networking/NAT/egress, Savings Plans, reserved/committed-use discounts, spot/preemptible VMs, and negotiated Databricks discounts.
