Capital One Slingshot for Databricks
Capital One Software's cost tool for Snowflake and Databricks, with ML-based job compute optimization that came from its acquisition of Sync Computing (Gradient).
The Sync Computing team joined Capital One Software in 2025 and its Databricks job optimizer became part of Slingshot. Slingshot shows Databricks costs and the costliest jobs, and can recommend or auto-apply job cluster settings against an SLA. Capital One also publishes a free Databricks health check dashboard built on system tables. Its main product page focuses on Snowflake, so check the Databricks docs for current coverage.
